Incorporating Sustainability into Action: Transforming Business with ESG

In today’s corporate landscape, sustainability is no longer an option but a necessity. Recognizing this shift, Thailand Privilege Card (TPC) partnered with LO-CARB to develop its business model through an integrated ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) strategy. Together, we worked to strengthen TPC’s commitment to sustainability, ensuring long-term value creation for both the business and its stakeholders.

 

The Challenge
With the global business environment increasingly demanding ESG compliance, TPC needed to align its operations with sustainability practices while maintaining its core offerings. TPC aims to meet international ESG standards, optimizing internal operations for sustainability, and ensuring its services reflect the company’s commitment to environmental and social responsibility.

LO-CARB’s Solution
LO-CARB collaborated with TPC to develop a comprehensive ESG strategy aimed at enhancing the organization’s environmental stewardship, promoting social welfare, and strengthening governance. This initiative included the following key components:

  1. ESG Policy:
  • Green Procurement & Environmental Management: We guided TPC in adopting green procurement practices and implementing sustainable environmental management systems to reduce waste and energy consumption within the organization.

  • Employee Development: LO-CARB provided actionable frameworks for improving employee welfare, health, and development. This helped TPC foster a healthier and more engaged workforce.

  • Corporate Ethics & Governance: Strengthening corporate governance was essential for TPC to maintain transparency and ethical business practices. We worked with them to develop strong risk management systems, ensuring compliance with legal regulations like PDPA (Personal Data Protection Act) and corporate ethics.
  1. CARBON CAMP
  2. As part of the partnership, LO-CARB introduced several hands-on training programs and practical workshops tailored for TPC:
  • Digital TPC & Sustainable Supply Chain: TPC embraced digital transformation to streamline its operations and supply chain. We introduced digital tools to enhance efficiency, reduce carbon footprints, and ensure sustainability across all supply chain stages.
    • TPC Mobile Application: The TPC Mobile Application was a key initiative, designed to reduce resource consumption while improving service delivery to members.
    • Community Impact: We also worked on expanding TPC’s social impact through community engagement initiatives that align with sustainable development goals.
  1. ESG Report & Manual:
  • Environmental and Social Reports
Using LO-CARB’s proprietary platforms, we helped TPC produce an ESG strategy report. The report provided actionable insights into reducing emissions and improving resource use across the business. Additionally, we incorporated ESG standards, including GRI and SET ESG guidelines for listed companies, to prepare TPC for its future ESG milestones.
  • Sustainability Strategy Manual
TPC received a detailed sustainability strategy manual, outlining best practices in ESG. The manual served as practical guides for reducing environmental impact, improving workplace welfare, and adhering to corporate governance standards.

Results Achieved

  • TPC’s first step towards ESG has moved the organization closer to sustainability goals.
  • Employee awareness of ESG concepts increased, with 93.75% of employees passing the test after our Carbon Camp on ESG.
  • TPC’s ESG strategies for 2024-2027 were developed and implemented.

Through this collaboration, LO-CARB has empowered TPC to lead the way in corporate sustainability, making strides in environmental, social, and governance areas that resonate with their business goals and stakeholders.
